Fast and obfuscated

The following command lines summaries this guide. It allow you to install Extreme Tux Racer very quickly. First, setup your sudo environment :

sudo echo

and copy / paste the following command lines in your terminal :

echo "# woodypl main for Ubuntu 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon
# contains Extreme Tux Racer packages
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/woodypl/ubuntu gutsy main
deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/woodypl/ubuntu gutsy main" \
    | sudo tee /etc/apt/sources.list.d/gutsy-woodypl-main.list
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get --force-yes -y install etracer

You can now play to Extreme Tux Racer by clicking on its shortcut in the Games menu of Gnome.

Installation

First, we add the repository containing Extreme Tux Racer to our apt configuration :
