Opera est une alternative commerciale gratuite à Mozilla Firefox (et autres navigateurs du monde GNU / Linux). Cette page vous explique comment l'installer rapidement.

Rapide et Incompréhensible

Si vous êtes pressé, les lignes de commande suivante résument l'ensemble de ce howto. Commencez par initialiser votre environnement sudo :

sudo echo

Copiez / collez ensuite les lignes suivantes dans le terminal :

sudo sh -c 'echo "# channel for the edgy commercial channel
#
#:description:This channel contains the commercial software for edgy
deb http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu edgy-commercial main"  \
      > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/edgy-commercial.list'
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install opera

Installation

Il faut en premier lieu ajouter le dépôts des logiciels commerciaux à la configuration d'apt :

sudo sh -c 'echo "# channel for the edgy commercial channel
#
#:description:This channel contains the commercial software for edgy
deb http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu edgy-commercial main"  \
      > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/edgy-commercial.list'

Il vous faut ensuite mettre à jour la liste des paquets disponibles :

sudo apt-get update

Vous pouvez enfin installer Opera :

sudo apt-get install opera
